Holiday Diary - Day 41

Some time during the night Sue decided that we weren't going to catch the train to Devil's Bridge and that we were going to do a load of washing instead. I won't say why for fear of embarrassing her. 

So, after doing the washing that needed to be done, we drove out to Devil's Bridge and had a look around. Here are some of the photos we took.

The one at the bottom was built in the 12th century, the one above it was built in the 15th century and the one above it was built in the 20th century.

Sue didn't come on the walk with me as the steps were far too steep for her. To tell the truth they were too steep for me but I managed.

After Devil's Bridge we drove to Aberaeron where we found a nice little restaurant and craft area where we had lunch. While there, we found a leaflet for a Wool Museum that was near Newcastle Emlyn which was on the way to Carmarthen.

While at the Museum I learnt about Mill Ponds as well as a few other things. I also picked a couple of balls of Scottish wool (who would of thought that I would be able to buy Scottish wool in Wales) and a cone of wool made at the museum. Now all I need is a sample of some English wool and I will have a full set.

We have now settled in at our accommodation  in St Clears and tomorrow we will make our way to Cardiff.
