Friday FOs - 28.08.2015

Things are getting finished at the moment but I don't know how long this will last as I will have to start something soon. Here are this week's finished objects.

Two Monkeys
These two have taken a while to make, now to see if the people that were interested in these show up at the next markets.

Trauma Teddy #27 for 2015
My 27th trauma teddy for this year.

As usual, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have made.

Wednesday WIPs - 26.08.2015

Each Wednesday I seem to have the same problem, trying to remember which of my many projects I have worked on. I guess I wouldn't have this problem if I didn't have so many of them. Here are some of the projects that I have worked on this week.

Tunisian Spiral Blanket
A visit to the doctor meant that I had some time sitting in a waiting room so this one came out of hibernation.

Moogly CAL Square #17
I'm not sure that this square was suitable for a single colour but I was due to do a plain square. It definitely loses something in a single colour.

Story Time Blanket
As my main project, this is the one that I have spent most of my time on.

I also spent time sewing in ends on the tartan blanket and I finished a couple of things, but you will have to wait until Friday to see those.

As usual, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.

Friday FOs - 21.08.2015

I have plenty of FOs to show off today, and here they are.

Man-bag
The shoulder strap has been attached and the buttons have been sewn on  (although I'm not sure if I have chosen the right buttons) so I'm calling this one finished and ready for use.

Trauma Teddy #26 for 2015
This week's trauma teddy has been made withyarn that was donated by one of the clinics that we give teddies to.

Shy Butterfly Baby Jacket in DK

Shy Butterfly Baby Jacket in 4 ply
This morning, at crochet class, I sowed in the ends and attached the buttons to both of these jackets.

With all of these finished I should now have more time to work on other projects that need my attention  (so long as I don't start more), so maybe I will get a few more finished in the next few weeks.

That's it from me for this week. Be sure to check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have made.

Wednesday WIPs - 19.08.2015

I have had another busy week, crocheting and sewing, and now it is time to show off most of my projects. Here they are.

Shy Butterfly Baby Jacket in 4 ply
This one is now ready to have the ends sewn in and the buttons sewn on. All I have to do is find some suitable buttons.

Butterfly Squares - side one

Butterfly Squares -side two
The third square is done.

Two Monkeys
I've made the arms and legs, just have the tails to make and then I will be ready to sew them all together.

Story Time Blanket
I'm making good progress on this and may have it finished in record time.

I have also worked on the tartan blanket but I'm still just sewing in ends so there isn't much to see.

I will also have something other than just a trauma teddy to show off on Friday so be sure to check back then. In the meantime, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.

Wednesday WIPs - 12.08.2015

Well, I have been just as busy this week as last, although I did have a day off yesterday as I didn't feel much like doing anything at all. I did manage to work on most of my projects again this week so here are my progress photos.

Shy Butterfly Baby Jacket in DK
The collar is now done on this, now I need to figure out how to do the same on the 4 ply version.

Moogly CAL Square #16
I almost forgot to take a photo of this one and only remembered when I was updating my projects on Ravelry.

Boy's Rugby Jumper
I finally got around to sewing this one together and it is now ready for the collar.

Story Time Blanket
This has been my main focus for this week, the one project that I kept going back to after I had spent some time on other projects. If I keep up this pace I will have this ready for this year's show at the end of October.

Man-bag
I still have about 8 inches of shoulder strap to do but the ball of yarn I was using has almost run out. I hope that the other ball is a close enough match.

That's it from me for now, be sure to check back on Friday to see if I have managed to finish something. In the meantime. check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.

Trauma Teddy #24 for 2015
I still need to get into my bag of unfinished teddies and get them done. I will get them done, eventually.

As usual, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have made.

Wednesday WIPs - 05.08.2015

I am always telling people how many projects I have on the go at the same time. This week, I have managed to work on most of them. Here are all the WIPs that I have worked on this week.

Shy Butterfly Baby Jacket
I managed to finish the second sleeve. Now I just have the collar to do.

Man-bag
I started on the shoulder strap this week. I still have a bit to do before this is ready to use.

Two Monkeys
I finally got around to finishing the body of the second monkey and now have the arms, legs and tail and sew them together.

Butterfly Square ( side one )

Butterfly Square ( side two )
I managed to find time to do another ten rows on this square.

Story Time Blanket
This is the main project that I have worked on as it is an order and I want to get it done as soon as possible.

I also spent some time sewing in ends on the tartan blanket but didn't think it was enough of a change to worry about taking a photo.

That's it from me for now. Be sure to check back on Friday to see what I have finished. In the meantime, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.
